Throughout our 84-year history, we have worked to build stronger communities, especially during times of crisis and natural disaster, when there are urgent needs. With New York City at the epicenter of the virus, we wanted to do our part to help during this critical time.
NYC HEALTHCARE HEROES
We launched “NYC Healthcare Heroes,” with the Debra and Leon Black Family, the Mayor’s Fund to Advance New York City, Robin Hood and the American Red Cross to support the heroic efforts of healthcare professionals on the front lines combatting the COVID-19 pandemic.
With this program, we’ll be providing at least 300,000 and up to 500,000 packages of shelf-stable food, household cleaning and personal care products, as well as over-the-counter medicine to staff at hospitals across the five boroughs through June, alleviating the burden of having to shop for themselves and their families. Aramark is donating labor to provide procurement, assembly and delivery services, and will coordinate with Red Cross volunteers to distribute the packages to hospital staff.
WHY WE ARE DOING THIS
We are doing this to address an urgent need. We are uniquely positioned to meet both state and local level emergency response needs. We are proud to help lead this effort, and have a dedicated team, eager to work and do their part. Our excellence in every aspect of foodservice and other facilities disciplines gives us the ability execute this type of emergency response program efficiently and effectively.

January 27, 2021 – As part of its mission to celebrate and preserve America’s most beautiful natural landscapes, the Park Institute of America, a not-for-profit organization that seeks to maintain the integrity and vibrancy of America's National Parks, today announced partnerships with Aramark and with Wild Tribute, an apparel company founded to honor the national parks and public lands and to support America’s “Wild and Historic Places.”
