JOHN ZILLMER

Chief Executive Officer

John Zillmer, Aramark’s CEO since 2019, is a highly effective, respected, and accomplished business leader with deep expertise in hospitality and food service, corporate culture, and governance. In his current role, he leads the company’s 270,000 employees and is responsible for Aramark’s global strategy and operations across 19 countries.

During his earlier 20-year tenure with the company, Zillmer advanced through a series of leadership roles including Vice President of Operating Systems, Regional Vice President, Area Vice President, Executive Vice President of Business Dining Services, President of the Business Services Group, and President of International, ultimately serving as President of Global Food and Support Services. Under his leadership, Aramark Food & Support Services became a best-in-class organization and the largest food management provider in North America.

After leaving Aramark in 2004, Zillmer served as Chairman and CEO of Allied Waste Industries, as well as CEO and Executive Chairman of Univar, a global chemical and ingredients distributor.

Zillmer currently serves as Non-Executive Chairman of CSX Corporation and as a member of the Board of Directors of Ecolab, Inc. He was named to NACD’s Directorship 100 in 2016 in recognition of his outstanding contributions to corporate governance.

Through his family foundation, Zillmer focuses his philanthropic efforts on improving the lives of children and families in Tanzania and Haiti. The foundation established the Inspiration Center, a multi-purpose facility supporting doctors, nurses, and patients at Machame Hospital in the Kilimanjaro district of Tanzania.

JIM TARANGELO

Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Jim Tarangelo became Aramark’s CFO in January 2024, leading the company’s financial operations, including Accounting, Tax, Treasury, Auditing, Financial Planning, Investor Relations, Risk Management, and Strategy. His current role comes after 20 years of exceptional leadership and advancement within Aramark.

Jim most recently served as Senior Vice President and Treasurer, with responsibility for Global Treasury, Corporate Planning, Mergers and Acquisitions, and Tax. He served as the company’s lead in executing the 2023 spin-off of Aramark’s uniforms business.

Under Jim’s leadership, Aramark made two of its largest acquisitions; the global purchasing leader Avendra, and one of the largest uniforms companies, AmeriPride.

From 2014 to 2016, Jim was the CFO of Aramark International, with financial oversight for operations across 18 countries. He also served as Vice President for Global Financial Planning and Analysis, CFO of Aramark Latin America, and Associate Vice President of International Finance.

Before joining Aramark, Jim worked with Legg Mason’s investment banking group and PricewaterhouseCoopers.

He has an MBA from The Wharton School at The University of Pennsylvania and a bachelor’s degree in business and economics from Lafayette College.

ABIGAIL CHARPENTIER

Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer

Abigail Charpentier leads wide-ranging human resources functions across Aramark’s global operations, and is responsible for talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation, benefits, labor relations, Board matters, and other issues that affect the company’s 270,000 employees.

Abigail, who joined Aramark immediately after earning a bachelor’s degree from Cornell University, has held a variety of HR and operations roles at the company for more than two decades. Just before becoming the company’s Chief Human Resources Officer in January 2023, Abigail was Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Diversity for Aramark’s U.S. Food and Facilities businesses. From 2018 to 2021, she was Vice President of People and Culture at Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, responsible for 50 hotels across North America, South America, and the Caribbean.

Abigail has a reputation for leading transformation across Aramark’s lines of business, including Destinations, Facilities Management, Sports & Entertainment, Corrections, Student Nutrition, Collegiate Hospitality, Healthcare+, and the Workplace Experience Group. In her view, HR is a business enabler and should always support overall company growth while building high-performing teams. She is committed to engaging employees, developing talent strategy, and driving a people-first culture.

LAUREN HARRINGTON

Executive Vice President and General Counsel

Lauren serves as Executive Vice President and General Counsel for Aramark, and is a member of the company’s Executive Leadership Team. In her position, she leads the legal team responsible for Aramark’s corporate matters and all lines of business, and oversees the company’s global compliance and corporate security functions.

Lauren joined Aramark in 2006 and became Vice President and Associate General Counsel in 2009. She led the legal teams for many of Aramark’s domestic businesses, including Business Dining, Higher Education, Healthcare, K-12, Facilities and Corrections. She also managed the  operations of Aramark’s legal department.

Prior to joining Aramark, Lauren was an associate at WilmerHale in Boston, where her practice focused on corporate and securities matters for public and start-up companies. A significant portion of her practice involved mergers and acquisitions, venture financing and public offerings.

Lauren is a graduate of Harvard Law School and Bucknell University. She is a member of the Pennsylvania and Massachusetts bars. She resides in the Philadelphia area with her husband and their three daughters.

MARC BRUNO

Chief Operating Officer, U.S.

Marc leads Aramark’s ten U.S. food and facilities businesses, driving the Company’s hospitality culture and growth. Since joining Aramark as a campus hire, Marc has risen in the ranks by serving in a variety of sales and operating roles in the U.S. and internationally. Over the course of his career, Marc successfully demonstrated Aramark’s commitment to service excellence and played a vital role in earning new business.

Marc also leads Aramark’s Olympic projects, for which the company has served as the dining and catering services provider for 17 Olympic Games. His involvement with the project spans eight Olympics, dating back to the 1996 Atlanta Games.

In 2010, SportsBusiness Journal named him to its annual global list of “Forty Under 40,” recognizing the best and brightest young executives in the sports business industry. 

He serves on the board of directors of United Rentals Inc., Special Olympics of Pennsylvania, and Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation.

Marc is a graduate of the Cornell University School of Hotel Administration and earned an MBA from the Harvard Business School.

CARL MITTLEMAN

Chief Operating Officer, International

Carl Mittleman is Chief Operating Officer, International, leading Aramark’s International business across Europe, Asia, and the Americas. With full P&L accountability for a $5B+ operation, he is responsible for shaping strategy and driving sustainable growth across diverse and highly regulated markets. A member of Aramark’s Executive Leadership Team, Carl brings a strong public‑company perspective and regularly engages with the Board of Directors, investors, and senior stakeholders on strategy, performance, capital allocation, and risk.

Over a 30‑year career with Aramark, Carl has led large‑scale, complex businesses and built a proven track record of delivering growth, margin expansion, and high client retention. His international experience spans navigating global regulatory environments, leading governance and compliance priorities, and executing cross‑border acquisitions and integrations. He has consistently strengthened operating models that are resilient, scalable, and aligned to long‑term value creation.

A strategic and execution‑focused leader, Carl drives enterprise value through disciplined investment, business model innovation, and technology‑enabled productivity, while maintaining a strong customer and people focus across geographies.

In addition to his executive responsibilities, Carl has served on several private and nonprofit boards, including Kodiak Cakes, Spurs Sports & Entertainment, and The Cholula Food Company, and as Chairman of the TEAM Coalition. He holds an MBA from the University of Denver and a BS from Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration and began his career at Aramark as a college intern.

AUTUMN BAYLES

Executive Vice President,  Global Supply Chain & Group Purchasing Organizations

Autumn Bayles was named Executive Vice President of Global Supply Chain & Group Purchasing Organizations in September, 2023, and is responsible for the company’s $20B managed services global supply chain and GPO network. She most recently served as SVP, Global Supply Chain, overseeing the global supply chain for Aramark’s managed services business.

Autumn was previously the VP of Global Operational Excellence at Aramark, responsible for implementing large scale productivity, process optimization, and innovative technology initiatives across the company’s client portfolio. She started her career at Aramark in 2011 as the VP of Strategic Development, leading initiatives such as growth strategies, M&A projects, and other strategic assessments across the various business units.

Before joining Aramark, Autumn was the SVP of Strategic Operations at Flowers Foods and had also served as the company’s Chief Information Officer.

Before joining Tastykake, Autumn was a Managing Principal consultant with IBM, formerly PricewaterhouseCoopers and PWC Consulting before mergers. She also served as Director of Consulting for Destiny WebSolutions, a portfolio company of venture capital firm Safeguard Scientifics, where she was responsible for project direction, client relationships, and business development.

A graduate of Lehigh University with a Bachelor’s in Industrial Engineering, Autumn also holds an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

DEBBIE ALBERT

Senior Vice President,  Strategic Communications & Corporate Affairs

Debbie Albert leads Aramark’s Strategic Communications & Corporate Affairs team, which encompasses Corporate Communications, Digital Marketing, and Community Partnerships, as well as the company’s charitable fund. 

She is an award-winning communications executive with experience in corporate and employee communications, crisis and issues management, social media, and press and media relations.

From 1995-2010, she was an integral part of Aramark’s Corporate Communications team, and in 2021, she rejoined the company as Senior Vice President of that department, overseeing the company’s reputation around the world. In 2022, Community Partnerships and the charitable fund were added to her portfolio.

With over three decades of journalism and communications experience that included Independent Network News and the Washington bureau of CNN, she returned to her hometown of Philadelphia where she worked at 6ABC (formerly WPVI-TV) and KYW-TV in Philadelphia.

Her newsroom experience led to positions in public relations, first at the Spectrum, Philadelphia’s former arena, and then for an association management company, serving as the spokesperson for a dozen manufacturing trade groups.

She has appeared twice on NBC's “The Today Show” and has been quoted in the New York Times and other national media outlets.
