La Latina Cocina: A Dining Concept Full of Heart
For many students, La Latina Cocina feels like home. Chef Grace understands that food is culture and loves sharing the vibrancy, creativity and, above all, comfort of Latin American cuisine. The co-development process between Chef Grace and a team of Aramark chefs brought together a mix of traditional flavors and adventurous spirit that makes La Latina Cocina so unique.
“La Latina Cocina means the Latin girl who cooks, and its about celebrating all the flavors from our beautiful culture in one concept”

Building a Global Community on Campus
This new partnership emerged from a desire to be more inclusive of Latine/a/o students, the fastest-growing demographic at U.S. colleges and universities, while also meeting Generation Z’s demand for authentic, globally inspired cuisine. La Latina Cocina’s menu items draw heavy inspiration from Ramirez’s La Latina cookbook, while also being supported by Aramark’s recipes and product sourcing. Concepts like La Latina Cocina help to increase awareness, educate, and acknowledge the diverse backgrounds of culinary team members within Aramark, as well as to inspire and uplift guests, employees, and the communities we serve.
