Thousands of people at Aramark belong to our employee resource groups (ERGs) — people come together based on common interests, backgrounds or demographic factors. Our ERGs are just one of many ways we encourage employees to bring their whole selves to work. We're consistently awarded for our efforts around diversity and inclusion by organizations like Diversity Inc., Disability:IN, the Human Rights Campaign, Black Enterprise Magazine and more.
We’re committed to building leadership with our organization. In fact, one of the ways we bring diversity to the organization is through our Accelerate To Leadership management training program in which 38% of our hires are racially diverse.
Providing competitive wages and benefits is just one way we focus on engaging employees. We also concentrate our energy and investments on comprehensive training and development programs for everyone—from hourly employees to the upper levels of management. Our programs include Step Up To Leadership for college interns, Accelerate To Leadership for recent college graduates and Learn To Lead for our frontline leadership.
We also know education is a stepping stone. In 2019 Aramark announced a program to offer full tuition coverage of college degrees to eligible hourly employees in the U.S. The Aramark Frontline Education Program is part of an investment we made in our people that also includes targeted wage and benefit increases, as well as additional training and development. Our goal is to ensure everyone will continue to grow their careers.

In 2020, we launched EverSafe™, a holistic platform to enable the safe reopening and sustainable management of client locations. Through a collaboration with Jefferson Health, we are offering clients new levels of safety excellence to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 and provide the most hygienic environments for employees, clients, customers, and guests.
