Aramark Building Community
Throughout the year, and during our annual Global Day of Service, Aramark Building Community Day, thousands of our employee volunteers work to build vibrant, sustainable communities for all. We also offer complimentary resources to nonprofit organizations that equip families and individuals with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to discover, choose, and prepare healthy food—often in conjunction with volunteer activities like food drives, cooking demonstrations, and meal prep workshops.
Increasing Food Security
Aramark is committed to finding ways to promote access to healthy food in the communities where we live and work. Our teams lead activities including community food drives, cooking demonstrations, and nutrition education programs.
Aramark recognizes that food security - access by all people at all times to enough food for an active, healthy life - is a growing concern across communities. We work with a variety of partners to develop and implement practices to increase food security. We collaborate with many clients to offer critically needed meals and assistance through organizations such as Swipe Out Hunger, Food Recovery Network, and Food Donation Connection.

Strategic Support
Since its inception in 2008, Aramark Building Community, our global volunteer program, has supported thousands of impactful programs, engaged more than 80,000 employee volunteers, and impacted more than two million children and families worldwide. Through Aramark Building Community, we address important community needs on the local level and engage our employees in volunteer service to support non-profit organizations and build strong, sustainable relationships.
