For the company’s continuous dedication to enhancing accessibility and supportive work environments for its employees, Aramark has again been named a Best Place to Work for Disability Inclusion™ on the 2025 Disability Index®, an annual benchmarking guide produced by Disability:IN, a nonprofit resource for business disability inclusion worldwide.

“We are proud to be recognized again as a Top Scorer on the Disability Index,” said Fenimore Fisher, Vice President of Global Inclusion, Aramark. “As a hospitality company, we believe in serving everyone. The resources of Disability:IN help enhance our culture and ultimately support business impact.”

This is the ninth consecutive year Aramark has been recognized as a Top Scorer on the Disability Index.

"Achieving a high score on the Disability Index is a significant milestone. This recognition is a testament to the leadership and innovation required to drive meaningful progress," said Jill Houghton, President and CEO of Disability:IN. “Today, hundreds of the world’s leading companies are using this tool to benchmark and drive their disability inclusion efforts. Together, we are creating a global economy accelerated by disability inclusion."

As the leading independent, third-party resource for the benchmarking of disability inclusion policies and programs in business, the Disability Index measures performance across six key areas, including Culture and Leadership, Enterprise-Wide Access, Employment Practices, Community Engagement, Supplier Inclusion, and Responsible Procurement.

Aramark has also been named a Top 50 Employer by readers of Careers and the Disabled Magazine and one of America’s Greatest Workplaces for People with Disabilities 2024/25 in Newsweek magazine.

Inclusive Workplaces Where Employees Thrive

Aramark THRIVE, one of the company’s growing network of employee resource groups (ERGs), is dedicated to the interests of employees who self-identify as having a disability and for caretakers and advocates of those with disabilities.

THRIVE is active year-round, supporting employees and the communities Aramark serves.

Earlier this year, THRIVE volunteers and others across Aramark participated in Polar Plunge events in Philadelphia and Pittsburgh, raising money and awareness for the Special Olympics of Pennsylvania.

Aramark sponsors hiring, mentorship, and career development opportunities for students from Transition Pathways at the A.J. Drexel Autism Institute to better reach and engage with Philadelphia’s neurodiverse community.

In addition, THRIVE partners with Popcorn for the People, an Aramark supplier that works to create career opportunities for the disabled community. Read more.
