Nakia Spencer-Graham, MBA, RD, LDN, National Director of Clinician Nutrition Development and Deployment, Aramark Healthcare+

Nakia started her management career with Aramark as an Assistant Director of Patient Services and transitioned to various operational leadership roles including General Manager for a large teaching facility, Houston Methodist Hospital. 

Within Aramark’s corporate healthcare sector, Nakia has held many marketing, program development and growth leadership roles to drive customer satisfaction, impact patient outcomes, support growth/retention, increase revenue and build people capabilities. 

Nakia is currently the National Director of Clinical Nutrition Development Deployment for Aramark where she leads the development of program solutions, training, and performance metrics in clinical nutrition. Under her leadership, her team establishes progressive clinical nutrition programs aligned with current industry standards, professional practice standards and regulatory requirements. 

Nakia Spencer completed her dietetic internship at Indiana University Purdue University of Indianapolis in Indianapolis, IN. She holds a B.S. in Nutrition and Dietetics from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University in Greensboro, NC and a MBA from Belmont University, Massey School of Business in Nashville, TN. 

Outside of work, she volunteers her time with the Clinical Nutrition Management DPG as the Membership Committee Chair and IDEA Task Force member.

 

Jessica Leonard, MBA, RD, LDN Regional Director of Clinical Nutrition Development and Deployment, Aramark Healthcare+

Jessica Leonard is a 2011 graduate of West Virginia University and became a Registered Dietitian in 2012. In 2020, she graduated from Louisiana State University- Shreveport with a Master of Business Administration concentrating in International Business. 

In 2012, she started as a Dietary Director in long-term care. She then turned her talents to working as a program coordinator for an ASMBS Bariatric Surgery Center of Excellence. In 2016, Jessica joined Aramark as a dietitian and was promoted in 2017 to Clinical Nutrition Manager. In 2019, Jessica became General Manager of a 500-bed hospital in Arlington, Virginia. 

After two years overseeing this hospital and retail locations, she accepted the position of Regional Director of Clinical Nutrition Development and Deployment for the Northeast/Southeast Regions, providing clinical nutrition subject matter expertise to healthcare locations in 25 states and Washington DC. In this position, she engages with regional leadership, ensures compliance to clinical program standards, supports human resource initiatives, and simplifies the clinical agenda. 

Most recently, as the project lead, she launched Aramark's first Digitally Enabled Care Inpatient Telehealth Program. Outside of work she volunteers, managing social media relations for the Clinical Nutrition Management Dietetic Practice Group and Aramark Nourish Employee Resource Group.
