Mark This! has a one-on-one conversation with Jami Leveen, Vice President for Community Partnerships, exploring community relations at Aramark. In her daily life, she oversees strategic partnerships with nonprofits, year-round volunteer opportunities, and charitable contributions. Our 10th annual day of service also known as Aramark Building Community Day, is scheduled for April 27, near the end of National Volunteer Month.
Jami Leveen, Vice President for Community Partnerships Jami started with Aramark at the Pennsylvania Convention Center and has built a career with the company over the last two decades in a broad array of sales, marketing and communications roles. After leaving the convention center, she supported the full portfolio of accounts throughout Sports and Entertainment before transitioning to the public affairs team in 2016 to lead community relations.
As Vice President, Community Partnerships, Jami heads the company strategy for community impact, builds relationships with key community-based organizations, oversees corporation contributions and leads our signature employee volunteer program, Aramark Building Community.
In collaboration with internal and external stakeholders Jami builds long-term partnerships that align and further Aramark’s contributions to the greater good by creating positive impact. Jami fosters a culture of service with a focus on health and wellness, reducing inequity and addressing food and nutrition security. She is responsible for collaborations with leading nonprofits such as the American Heart Association, Urban League of Philadelphia and the Boys and Girls Clubs of America that drive mutually beneficial outcomes and build local communities. Her work advances Aramark’s mission to do great things for our people, our partners, our communities and our planet.
