Be Well. Do Well.® is Aramark’s enterprise sustainability plan, focused on reducing inequity, supporting and growing our communities, and protecting our planet. Under this united framework, we are on an accelerated path to enabling equity and wellbeing for millions and reducing our greenhouse gas emissions by 2025.

Our 2021 accomplishments include:

  • Cultivating a workforce that is 59% female globally and 54% people of color in the U.S.
  • Sourcing from 470 local farms in the U.S.
  • Supporting nearly 250,000 individuals globally through employee volunteerism
  • Sourcing 100% of our soy and palm oils responsibly
  • Offering menus where 32% of main dishes and sides contain a full serving of nutritionally dense whole foods and are lower in calories, saturated fat, and sodium (in Business Dining, Healthcare, and Higher Education)
  • Reducing our fuel consumption in North America by 5%
  • Deploying waste-minimizing technology in 452 U.S. locations
  • Replacing 95% of our stirrers with wood to reduce single-use plastics
