Recipe: Texas Honey Cocktail

"Hey everybody, it's Chef Alec. We're in the Aramark kitchen. We're getting ready for the highly anticipated halftime performance at NRG Stadium for the football game on Christmas Day.
To do so, I want to make for you guys one of my favorite cocktails called Texan Honey. I am just crazy in love with this drink. Great, let's get started.
First thing we're going to do: 2 oz of Texas whiskey right into our shaker full of ice. Now 1/4 oz fresh lemon juice, 1/4 oz honey syrup.
Now we're going to cover that up, give it a good shake.
Bingo. Pour it right into a glass over ice.
And now we're going to finish it with 4 oz of ginger beer.Now we're just going to garnish it with a sugared lemon wedge. And beautiful, look at that.Well, there you have it: Texan Honey.
A drink that you will find to be irreplaceable at any party."
