Recipe: Pumpkin Dump Cake
Speaker: Chef Alec Lipschutz
"Hey everybody, it's Chef Alec. We are back in the Aramark kitchen celebrating National Pumpkin Month, and today we're going to make a pumpkin dump cake. I absolutely love this cake, it's so easy—you simply dump all your ingredients right in your mixer, give it a mix, and you are ready to bake!
All righty, let's get started. First thing, we have 15 and 1/4 oz—or one box—of your favorite cake mix right into the mixer. Four eggs, 30 oz of pumpkin puree, 18 oz evaporated milk, 1 cup sugar, 1 tablespoon cinnamon, a teaspoon ground cloves, a teaspoon ground ginger.
Now that all of our ingredients have been dumped in, we just give it a mix.
All righty, it's been an hour, and our pumpkin dump cake is ready! Just look at that—a beautiful way to spice up any holiday party, even National Pumpkin Month. Delicious!"
