"Do you know the difference between Texas Red and Carolina Gold? If not, don't worry, I got you covered. These are some of my favorite barbecue sauces and I'm going to tell you the best ways to enjoy it.

Starting off we have Texas Red. Just your classic barbecue sauce. It's a tomato base. It's flavored with dry seasonings. And if you like a little spicier you can add chilies. If you like a little sweeter you can add molasses. Great on brisket, great on other beef dishes, ribs. Just a perfect all-around barbecue sauce.

Up next we have a Carolina mop sauce. So this starts out with some of our Texas Red and it's a ratio of 4:1 vinegar to sauce. I like to do a blend of white vinegar and apple cider vinegar. This is great on pulled pork. The high acidity cuts through the fattiness of the pulled pork and you can just mop that right on.

Here we have Carolina Gold, an excellent mustard based sauce made with vinegar, brown sugar, and some other dry seasonings. Goes great with pulled pork. And I love to brush it on my grilled vegetables to give it that extra tang.

Finally we have Alabama White. This is a mayo based sauce seasoned with vinegar, horseradish, mustard. Not only is this great to dip your brisket or your chicken into, but it's also an awesome marinade for chicken and you can even baste it on your chicken as you're cooking.

Well there you go. Hopefully when you're picking your barbecue sauce you won't feel the heat. If you want to learn how to make any of these sauces we'll have the recipes in the description. And if you made it this far comment to me your favorite barbecue sauce."
