Sweet and Salty Brittle Ingredients
- 1 package saltines
- 2 cups popcorn
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 cup crushed pretzels
- Pinch of sea salt
Sweet and Salty Brittle Instructions
- Prep the Pan: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, making sure it’s slightly larger than the pan for easy removal.
- Layer the Crackers: Lay down an even layer of saltine crackers on the parchment paper.
- Make the Caramel: In a saucepan, combine equal parts butter and brown sugar. Heat until melted and smooth.
- Pour and Spread: Pour the caramel evenly over the crackers and spread it with a rubber spatula.
- Bake: Place in a 400°F (205°C) oven for 5 minutes.
- Add Toppings: While still hot, sprinkle a generous layer of chocolate chips over the brittle. As they melt, spread them with a spatula.
- Final Touches: Sprinkle with chopped pretzels and a pinch of sea salt.
- Chill: Refrigerate until cool, then break into pieces and serve!
Chocolate Toffee Caramel Corn Ingredients
- Popped Popcorn
- Caramel (same recipe as above)
- Chocolate Chips
- Toffee Bits
Chocolate Toffee Caramel Corn Instructions
- Combine Ingredients: In a large bowl, mix popped popcorn with a portion of the caramel.
- Add Extras: Throw in a handful of chocolate chips and toffee bits. You can also add nuts or other candies to suit your taste!
- Toss and Spread: Give everything a quick toss to coat and spread it onto a baking sheet.
- Chill: Place in the fridge until cool and ready to snack on.
