Fall in love at first bite. Chef Alec’s heart-shaped pastry recipe is here to make Valentine’s Day extra sweet.

Ingredients
- 1 package store bought puff pastry (thawed according to package instructions)
- 1 jar Nutella or any other filling you prefer
Instructions
- Prepare the Puff Pastry: Start with a piece of store-bought puff pastry. Cut it into squares.
- Add the Filling: Spread a nice, even layer of Nutella (or your favorite filling) across the puff pastry squares.
- Roll and Fold: Roll up the pastry tightly, like a pinwheel. Then, fold it in half.
- Create the Heart Shape: Cut the folded pastry almost all the way down the middle. Open it up to reveal the heart shape.
- Bake: Place the pastry hearts on a sheet tray lined with parchment paper. Bake in a preheated oven at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for approximately 15 minutes, or until golden brown and flaky.
