New Era Phillies Team Store

Summer is here in Philadelphia and with it, a return to long nights at the ballpark. As the Phillies settle into the heart of the season at Citizens Bank Park, the crack of bats fills the air as hawkers shout, “cold beer here!” and fans settle in for a day at the ballpark, ready to enjoy tasty bites and fresh gear made possible by Aramark Sports + Entertainment.

And speaking of fresh gear, this season, the Phillies Team Store has stepped into a whole new league.

Operated by Aramark Sports + Entertainment, the newly renovated, bi‑level New Era Phillies Team Store offers an entirely new way to shop at Citizens Bank Park. With a larger footprint and a more intuitive layout, it’s easier than ever for fans to explore, browse, and find their favorite gear.

During our recent shoot for Aramark’s 250 Taste Tour, I had a chance to spend some time in the store and maybe pick up a few things for the upcoming MLB All‑Star Game, which will be held at Citizens Bank Park on July 14. I may have gone a little overboard, but my new All‑Star Game t‑shirt and hat will get plenty of use this summer. 

The renovation isn’t just about more space. One of the standout features is a massive 370‑foot video wall that runs through the store, allowing fans to keep an eye on the game while they shop—so you never have to choose between grabbing gear and catching the action. 

There’s also a rotating product launchpad that puts the spotlight on exclusive drops, new collaborations, and seasonal merchandise at every game, giving fans something fresh to discover all season long. 

And when it comes to selection, the mix is better than ever. From classic Phillies staples like dad hats with the retro Phillies ‘P’, to Phillies themed toys for your favorite pet, to fashion‑forward collaborations debuting throughout the year, the New Era Phillies Team Store offers merchandise that works just as well on gameday as it does long after the final out is recorded. 

If you get a chance to stop by the New Era Phillies Team Store during a game this season, it’s well worth the visit—just be warned, like me, you might leave with more than you planned to buy. 

Player Collaborations

If I played for the Philadelphia Phillies, I’m not sure what my signature food item would be. Maybe something fried. Maybe something a little more on the “healthier” side, like a Mediterranean-style bowl which is what I gravitate towards these days. Unfortunately, I’ll never know, as my athletic career didn’t quite get that far. But that’s okay, because Aramark has already created standout specialty items inspired by today’s Phillies players. 

Sánchez Sliders

The first player-collaboration item we tried—on a beautiful, sunny April evening game—was the Sánchez Sliders. I can confirm I’ve had them each time I’ve gone to a Phillies game this season. They’re that good.  

The Sánchez Sliders feature honey-stung chicken tenders—marinated in honey before being breaded—in a house-made spice blend, stacked on soft potato rolls with garlic aioli and, of course, pickles to finish the sliders off. Each order also comes with a cup of Mike’s Hot Honey, perfect for drizzling over the sliders or using it as a dip.

And just when you think the sandwich couldn’t get any better, a portion of the proceeds benefits Clínica de Familia in Cristopher Sánchez’s hometown of La Romana. 

Schwarbomb Sundae

If you’re craving a sundae, make it the Schwarbomb Sundae, and yes, it lives up to the name. This one’s a homerun; the kind Kyle Schwarber likes to launch into right field. 

It’s an over-the-top, can’t-put-the-spoon-down dessert with Richman’s soft serve stacked high with a funnel-cake–fried strawberry Uncrustable (easily my favorite part of the sundae [cue the MVP chants]), fresh strawberry sauce, and a crunchy pop of fruity cereal.

It’s technically perfect for sharing. Technically. 

A portion of proceeds support Kyle Schwarber’s Neighborhood Heroes, benefiting first responders, military members, and their families.

The Sweeper 

Last up on the list of player collaborations is The Sweeper. On the day we visited Citizens Bank Park, we were fortunate to have Jesús Luzardo on the mound—because that’s the only time this sandwich is available. If you’re a fan of pizza steaks, this one’s for you. It features ribeye, provolone, and pepperoni, smothered in pizza sauce, and is only served when the lefty takes the hill.

Bull’s BBQ

When you think of barbecue, your mind might often wander to locales in the South like Texas, Tennessee, or the Carolinas. But what about South Philly?

It might not be the first destination you think of when it comes to barbecue, but Philadelphia’s food scene makes a strong case, and Citizens Bank Park is no exception.

With the baseball season in full swing, fans can dig into real, crave-worthy barbecue without heading any farther south than South Philly, thanks to the new Bull’s BBQ Sampler Platter.

As someone who’s become a barbecue enthusiast and recently taken up the expensive, time-consuming hobby of smoking meat myself, I can appreciate the craft and patience it takes to do it right. That’s exactly what the culinary team at Citizens Bank Park delivers at Bull’s BBQ in Left Field. 

The sampler platter—well worth ordering—features generous portions of signature pulled pork, burnt ends, and smoked turkey, served alongside baked beans, creamy coleslaw, and classic white bread. From first pitch to last bite, it’s a complete game-day spread that more than holds its own. Barbecue and baseball might be an underrated pairing, but this sampler makes a strong case for adding it as a starter to any lineup.

Not in the mood to share or settle in for a full meal? Fans can still enjoy Bull’s signature offerings, including pulled pork and smoked turkey sandwiches, a burnt ends cheesesteak, BBQ ribs, and the kielbasa “Bull Dog,” along with rotating specials. All entrées are also available as platters with two sides, including coleslaw, baked beans, potato salad, or cornbread, which, like I said, are underrated combinations for ball games.
