Aramark Named to Fortune’s AIQ 75

October 15, 2026

Ranking highlights how Aramark is responsibly leveraging AI to empower teams and deliver human-led hospitality

Aramark has been included on the 2026 Fortune AIQ 75, a list of the top 75 companies on the Fortune 500 for their use of artificial intelligence to generate measurable business impact.

The ranking looks beyond individual AI tools and projects. Fortune's methodology draws on several factors, including companies' own assessments of their AI implementation and value, technology leaders' evaluations of industry peers, and the maturity and scale of AI agent deployments.

AI in action

At Aramark, that work is part of Hospitality IQ, the company’s approach to leveraging technology and intelligence to create better hospitality experiences. AI is one of the technologies helping to bring that vision to life. Hospitality IQ is guided by a simple principle: technology should elevate, not replace, the human touch that’s core to hospitality.

Examples of Hospitality IQ in action include:

  • Culinary Co-Pilot is an AI-powered menu-planning tool that helps chefs create menus that reflect local tastes, nutrition needs, allergen considerations, and other regulatory and client needs. Across teams, operators report up to a 30% improvement in time spent planning menus, leaving more time for culinary creativity and engaging guests.
  • Labor Insights leverages AI to help frontline managers plan for the right level of staff at the right time, leading to increased operational efficiency and a team that’s ready to meet clients’ needs during every shift.
  • Mosaic, Aramark's proprietary AI-powered supply chain platform, turns complex purchasing data into actionable insights that help teams buy smarter, maximize savings, and strengthen supplier program participation. It powers decision-making for more than $20+ billion in annual purchases, bringing AI-powered insights to sourcing teams and client locations across the globe.

"For us, leveraging AI is about making our people more effective, our clients more successful, and enabling guests to experience the kind of hospitality that Aramark is known for," said Aramark CIO Baker Smith. "We're using AI to remove friction, so our teams can spend more time doing what they do best: creating remarkable experiences for all we serve.

Built on a foundation of trust

The innovative applications of AI described above are only part of the story. Aramark established its AI Risk Governance Committee in 2023, recognizing early on that realizing the benefits of AI would require a thoughtful approach to governance as the technology and regulatory landscape evolved.

"The trust our clients place in Aramark is one of our most important assets," said Aramark Chief Compliance Officer Tamsin Fast. "We've built an approach that combines policies, training, use case reviews, practical tools, and cross-functional oversight to help teams use AI responsibly. As AI and related regulations continue to evolve, we remain focused on providing clear guidance, maintaining human accountability, and enabling innovation that supports our clients, consumers, and business."

For Aramark, the AIQ 75 recognition is validation that the company is leading the industry in leveraging technology to deliver innovative, human-led hospitality experiences.
