Partnership with Stone Mountain Hospitality Marks an Exciting New Era for Georgia's Premier Outdoor Destination
Stone Mountain, GA (May 8, 2026) — Stone Mountain Hospitality, a subsidiary of Aramark Destinations, is proud to officially announce its new partnership with the Stone Mountain Memorial Association (SMMA) to manage the iconic Stone Mountain Park and the Atlanta Evergreen Lakeside Resort Hotel and Conference Center, effective June 1. Throughout the transition, the park and hotel will remain fully open, ensuring uninterrupted operations as the summer season begins.
Just minutes from downtown Atlanta, Georgia, Stone Mountain Park is the state’s premier outdoor destination. With more than 3,000 acres of natural beauty and family-friendly experiences, the park offers expansive outdoor recreation and seasonal entertainment for visitors year-round.

Under Stone Mountain Hospitality’s management, key park operations – including the hotel and conference center, campground, golf, retail, dining, and recreational activities – will be enhanced to provide visitors with world-class service, comfort, and entertainment. The new partnership represents SMMA's commitment to preserving and expanding Stone Mountain Park's role as a leading community asset.
Summer 2026: Attractions and Experiences
As the park opens for the season, guests can take in the sights and thrills of the Summit Skyride, embark on a scenic railroad journey, or test their courage at the Dinosaur Explore and SkyHike. For those seeking a more leisurely experience, the Adventure Outpost at the Waterfront offers lake tours, kayaking, paddleboarding, and a zip line.
New this year is the 250th Celebration Drone and Light Show, which will join the iconic 4th of July Fireworks Extravaganza and the Fire Drone Experience. Guests can enjoy the celebratory event with terrace seating for the Lightshow.
Special Events and Seasonal Offerings
This season, guests can indulge in Happy Hour at Stone Mountain Golf Club every Friday from 3 p.m. – 5 p.m. ET, or enjoy a relaxing Sunday Brunch at The Commons Restaurant at Stone Mountain Golf Club each Sunday.
On Mother’s Day (May 10), guests can enjoy brunch at either the Waterside Restaurant at the Atlanta Evergreen Resort (11 a.m. – 6 p.m. ET) or The Commons (12 p.m. – 6 p.m. ET). Both events promise delicious food in a picturesque setting, perfect for families to gather and celebrate.
