The new international headquarters of ALDI SÜD has opened in Salzburg, Austria, and the Aramark team was there to provide great food, a welcoming guest experience, and innovative service solutions in a modern workplace setting for approximately 1,800 employees of the multinational supermarket chain. The contract win was announced in summer 2025.
“Together with ALDI SÜD, we have created a foodservice concept that uniquely combines modern cuisine, operational efficiency, and a welcoming atmosphere,” says Eric Klemm, Director Business Development, Aramark Germany and Austria. “We are excited to bring this exceptional project to life and delight employees with inspiring culinary experiences every single day.”
A spacious employee restaurant features multiple food concepts with a rotating selection of freshly prepared dishes. An in-house coffee bar serves premium coffee specialties along with snacks, fresh baked goods, and other light bites. To enhance the guest experience, an AI-powered self-checkout system enables a fast and seamless payment process.
In addition, Aramark provides comprehensive conference and event catering services for meetings and corporate events for the ALDI SÜD team members responsible for supporting the company group’s global operations across 11 countries on four continents.
