This marks Aramark’s 27th consecutive RoSPA Gold Award, reflecting the company’s ongoing commitment to the highest standards of safety and accident prevention.
Aramark Global Energy has once again received a prestigious 2026 Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) Patron’s Gold Award for the company’s commitment to health and safety performance in 2025.
“We are delighted to receive the RoSPA Patron’s Gold Award, marking our 27th consecutive year of recognition for excellence in health and safety,” said Ali McEwan, Head of Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality, Aramark Global Energy. “Safety is fundamental to everything we do. This achievement reinforces our unwavering commitment to Target Zero—our goal of zero harm to people and the environment.”
Aramark Global Energy, with its UK headquarters based in Aberdeen, Scotland, supports the onshore and offshore culinary and accommodation needs of people working at more than 120 energy, construction, offshore wind, renewables, marine, and mining sites worldwide in some of the harshest and most remote locations.
Entrants to the RoSPA Awards come from organizations of all sizes and from a range of industry sectors, including construction, manufacturing and entertainment. The 2026 awards submission process attracted 2,000 different entries from nearly 60 countries.
Judged by a panel of leading experts, the applications encompassed companies’ health and safety standards and practices, continuing professional development, and the adherence to ongoing analysis and learning to reduce workplace accidents—and to keeping staff, customers, clients, and contractors safe at work.
“RoSPA congratulates Aramark Global Energy on its RoSPA Health and Safety Award,” said Julia Small, RoSPA’s Growth Director. “The high standards it has achieved are the result of hard work and dedication, of which it should be rightfully proud and which RoSPA is delighted to honor. It is because of the commitment of health and safety leaders like Aramark Global Energy that people today are safer at work than in the past and it sets an inspiring example for the future.”
The RoSPA awards are sponsored by the National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health (NEBOSH), a leading global organization which provides internationally recognized health, safety and environmental qualifications that raise the competence of safety and environmental professionals as well as individuals at all levels in the workplace. This year marks the 70th anniversary of the RoSPA awards.
