Aramark has named Paul “PJ” Johnson as President and Chief Executive Officer of Aramark Healthcare+, where he will lead the strategic direction and operations of the company’s healthcare division.
“Paul is a values driven leader with deep healthcare expertise and operating experience,” said Marc Bruno, Chief Operating Officer of Aramark U.S. Food and Facilities. “He is well positioned to work with our hospital partners to deliver industry leading support services that drive impactful patient satisfaction and solid financial outcomes.”
Johnson brings more than 30 years of leadership experience across healthcare, medical technology, life sciences, and hospitality services. Most recently, he served as Chief Executive Officer of DARI Motion, a privately held, AI based motion capture provider that uses advanced technology to measure and analyze the movements of the human body. He also served as President of Patient Support Systems at Hillrom, a global medical technology company focused on improving patient outcomes, and prior to that, he was President of the Americas Region for Life Technologies, a biotech company which specialized in products and services for life sciences research. He also has held multiple senior leadership roles at GE Healthcare.
Johnson assumes the role as Aramark continues its momentum supporting healthcare partners in a rapidly changing environment through long term, forward thinking partnership and innovation. By blending hospitality expertise with clinical insight, data driven technology, and a collaborative, people first culture, Aramark Healthcare+ works closely with hospitals and health systems to help improve operational performance, support caregivers, and deliver high quality, patient centered support services.
