What’s New at Aramark Destinations for 2026

April 30, 2026

Iconic Parks and Lodges Mark Generational Milestones

As several iconic destinations within its portfolio mark milestone anniversaries in 2026, Aramark Destinations is highlighting the strength of its longstanding partnerships across national parks and scenic locations nationwide. Building on decades of collaboration and stewardship, the company is expanding its focus on experience-driven travel with new cultural programming, lodging enhancements, and guest experiences designed to make travel more immersive, accessible, and meaningful.

These updates prioritize how travelers experience each stay, with less planning, more discovery, and a deeper connection to place.

“Travelers today expect more than a place to stay. They are seeking experiences that feel connected to the destination and meaningful once they arrive,” said Sasha Day, President and CEO of Aramark Destinations. “Our 2026 updates are designed to make those experiences more accessible and more memorable. As we look ahead to America 250, we are excited to introduce new ways for guests to engage more deeply with destinations across the country.”

Iconic Destinations Celebrate Milestone Anniversaries

Several Aramark Destinations locations are marking major milestones in 2026, highlighting their long-standing role in American travel and outdoor recreation. Mesa Verde National Park (Colorado), a UNESCO World Heritage Site, celebrates its 120th anniversary on June 29, 2026, recognizing more than a century as a protected cultural and historical site. In addition, the property has expanded lodging availability, and new booking systems are improving access to guided cliff dwelling tours and Puebloan cultural programming, reinforcing the park’s historical significance

Lake Quinault Lodge (Washington) marks its 100-year anniversary on September 19, 2026, honoring a century of hospitality in Washington’s Olympic National Forest, and Mad River Boat Trips (Wyoming) celebrates its 50th anniversary, reflecting five decades of guided river experiences.

California Coastal Programming at Asilomar

Along California’s central coast, Asilomar Hotel and Conference Grounds is introducing a seasonal lineup that brings guests and the local community together through signature coastal events. The Sunset Music Series returns every Friday from May 22 through August 28, offering live music set against ocean views at sunset. Asilomar Day (August 8) celebrates the property’s birthday with California State Parks tours, horseless carriage rides, food and drink, and live entertainment designed to connect visitors with the history and spirit of the destination.

During Monterey Car Week, Asilomar serves as a coastal hub for a series of immersive experiences. Electric Coast (August 10–11) highlights the future of driving with hands-on electric vehicle showcases, followed by Night Rider on August 11, an evening event featuring lowriders, classic cars, and live music. The Luau in the Meadow on August 12 brings a festive, community-centered celebration with live performances, leading into Woodies in the Woods on August 13, a gathering of vintage wood-bodied wagons that honors surf culture and craftsmanship.

Alaska Offers Expanded Guest Experiences

In Alaska, Denali Park Village is expanding cultural programming with the introduction of Sourdough Studios, a new photography studio featuring traditional Alaskan attire and timeless photo keepsakes. Signature outdoor adventures continue to anchor the stay, including guided hikes, sled dog experiences, the Cabin Nite Dinner Theatre, and unforgettable glacier excursions.

The broader Denali National Park is also expanding retail, tours, and transportation enhancements, while simplifying bookings to allow visitors to spend more time exploring and less time planning.

Heritage and Cultural Connection

At The Ahwahnee in Yosemite National Park, preparations are underway for the property’s upcoming centennial, including continued refinement of its dining program and signature prix fixe menu. Additionally, Yosemite Hospitality recently announced that it has been awarded the Leave No Trace Gold Standard Hospitality designation, the highest level of recognition from the organization.

Pikes Peak is preparing for major milestones, including America 250 and Colorado’s 150th

anniversary, alongside signature events like the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb. These moments are expected to draw increased attention to the destination’s iconic 14,000-foot summit experience.

East Coast Experiences and Seasonal Programming

On the East Coast, Bushkill Falls (Pennsylvania) is introducing a full calendar of seasonal programming, including wildlife demonstrations, “Hike & Seek” events, and a "Celebrate America" week with special offerings tied to America 250.

Across all destinations, Aramark Destinations is focused on improving how guests move through their stay, from streamlined booking systems and clearer pre-arrival communication to enhanced on-site services. With the spring and summer travel seasons approaching, these updates continue to put Aramark Destinations at the center of outdoor adventure travel, cultural tourism, and experience-driven stays across the U.S.
