Aramark Refreshments Debuts Breakrooms Designed to Meet Every Need at NAMA 2026

April 20, 2026
Built Around Every Kind of Break, For Every Kind of Space

The definition of a break is changing.  For a shift worker in a distribution center with 30 minutes between rotations, it means fast, reliable access to food and a proper break. For a team in a mid-sized office without a kitchen, it means fresh, chef-prepared food that was previously out of reach. For a college campus, a conference center, or a fintech firm looking to make the office worth showing up to, it means something closer to a destination.

Aramark Refreshments (NYSE: ARMK) is coming to NAMA 2026, April 22–24 at the Los Angeles Convention Center, with solutions designed to meet people in those moments.

According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics’ 2024 American Time Use Survey, 56 percent of U.S. workers take breaks lasting 30 minutes or less – a reality shaping how Aramark Refreshments designs its programs and what the company will bring to NAMA.

It starts where it always does: coffee, tea, water and the everyday essentials people count on. From there, Aramark Refreshments showcases how far that foundation can extend – spanning convenience technology, fresh food without a full commercial kitchen, and curated environments designed for connection.

“A break means something different depending on where you work and what your day looks like. At the core, it starts with the essentials — coffee, tea, water — the things people count on every single day. But our job is to meet people beyond that moment too. We now have the technology and food solutions to deliver experiences that flex around any environment, any schedule, and any need, without compromising on what matters most,” said Pat Liebler, CEO and President, Aramark Refreshments.

At NAMA 2026, those insights come to life across distinct spaces built for different kinds of breaks.

Always On, Always Stocked

For shift-based environments including manufacturing plants, distribution centers, healthcare facilities, and call centers, breaks are short and access is everything. This space highlights how Aramark Refreshments supports 24/7 operations with solutions designed for constant demand. From multi-function beverage technology that delivers hot and cold coffee, tea, and specialty drinks from a single machine to fresh food options scaled for high-volume locations, accessibility and convenience drive every decision here.

Fresh Food, No Kitchen Required

For regional offices, multi-tenant commercial buildings, and any environment without on-site food infrastructure, Aramark Refreshments demonstrates how fresh food can still be part of the break experience. Using innovative ventless equipment, this space shows how chef-inspired, made-on-site food can be delivered without a commercial kitchen. "Fresh food belongs everywhere, not just in spaces built for it," said Chef Ed Manacle, Culinary Development Director and the culinary force behind Heathland Hospitality, Aramark Refreshments' food-forward hospitality solution for spaces that don't fit the standard mold. At NAMA, Chef Manacle will bring the concept to life with freshly prepared flatbreads and curated beverage pairings, illustrating how a consistent, small-footprint format can flex to fit many types of spaces.

Where Breaks Become Destinations

Another of Aramark’s experiences is less about function and more about feeling. Whether designed for a corporate headquarters, a collaboration space, or a respite area built for teams that want to slow down, this space shows what a break can look like when it is designed as a destination. Through a thoughtful combination of elevated snacks and beverages, furnishings, and layout, the space highlights how Aramark Refreshments can design and curate an environment that supports connection, rest, or both.

Beyond the booth, Aramark Refreshments will also participate in NAMA’s Imagination Way thought leadership forum, with company leaders serving as panelists and moderators to discuss industry trends, emerging technology, and the evolving role of refreshment across sectors.

Aramark Refreshments will exhibit at NAMA 2026 at booth 1E, April 22–24, at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
