Aramark Germany has been chosen as the hospitality and catering services partner for approximately 1,600 employees at a BMW Group factory being built in Lower Bavaria.
Highlighting the close connection between modern corporate catering, regionality, and employer attractiveness, Aramark Germany is designing a customized catering program that will set new standards to ensure the new high-voltage battery plant becomes a showcase of innovation, technology, and elevated culinary offerings.
Beginning in January 2026, Aramark Germany will manage the company restaurant, conference services, and two modern self-service shops that will offer employees flexible catering options throughout the working day.
“The gastronomy at the … plant is measured against the same high standards of quality, regionality, food safety, occupational safety, and environmental protection as all BMW Group locations,” says Kurt Rass, Project Manager for Company Catering at the BMW Group in Irlbach-Straßkirchen, in the Straubing-Bogen district of Bavaria, Germany. “Aramark’s new gastronomic concept will contribute significantly to this.”
In addition to classic main meals at lunchtime and in the evening in a two-shift system, Aramark Germany will offer all-day snack options to combine enjoyment, variety, and convenience while also meeting the requirements of a technologically advanced production plant.
“We are proud to be able to support the BMW Group at its new location,” said Eric Klemm, Director of Business Development - Workplace Experience, Aramark Germany. “Our aim is to provide more than just catering. We want to create a culinary experience that energizes, motivates, and makes the location even more attractive.”
