Welsh Rugby Union (WRU) has selected Aramark UK as the new food, drink, and hospitality partner at Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales. With seating for 74,000 rugby fans, Principality Stadium is the largest stadium in Wales and the fourth largest in the United Kingdom by total capacity.
The significant multi-million-pound, long-term contract will begin in mid-December ahead of the Six Nations 2026 rugby championships and after the Quilter Nations Series.
“This partnership is a commercial step change for WRU and will include smarter procurement and fan‑focused innovation that aligns with our ambition to drive significant revenue growth which we can invest back into the game of rugby in Wales,” said Leighton Davies, Chief Commercial Officer, WRU. “Aramark UK delivered an ambitious and compelling proposition, and we look forward to working together.”
Aramark UK plans to bring great food, innovative technology, and strong operational expertise to help elevate the fan experience at the stadium. In addition, the teams will enact clear sustainability targets for waste, energy, and packaging.

With more than 274 member clubs and associations active throughout Wales, WRU is the not-for-profit governing body for rugby unions in the country. WRU owns and operates Principality Stadium.
