Aramark is proud to announce a culinary partnership between author, television personality, and celebrity chef, Judy Joo, to provide modern Korean cuisine to Aramark’s guests who have an increased interest in exploring flavorful cuisine. Starting this month, three recipes from Chef Judy’s recently debuted cookbook, “K-Quick”, will be featured across three lines of businesses including Collegiate Hospitality, Healthcare+, and Workplace Experience Group.
“Aramark continuously seeks to enhance the culinary experience across its varied lines of business,” said Aramark Culinary Development Director Marion Gibson. “We are thrilled to partner with Chef Judy Joo as her unique approach to modern Korean cuisine will provide our customers with an authentic, flavorful culinary journey.”
The three featured recipes are:
- Sweet & Spicy Salmon Bowl or 고추장 연어 스테이크 (Gochujang Yeoneo Seuteikeu): Sweet, spicy roasted salmon with sticky rice & banchan (soy cucumber & onion, radish pickle and broccoli, mushroom & sesame salad)
- Korean Street Toast or 길거리 토스트 (Gilgeori Toseuteu): Vegetable & egg omelet layered with ham, salami, melted cheddar, and ketchup-mayo between two slices of light, crispy, griddled bread and a side of house-made kettle chips
- Korean BBQ Chicken Bowl or 닭 불고기 (Dak Bulgogi): Chef Judy's mom's soy glazed chicken with sticky rice & banchan (sesame spinach, kimchi and grilled corn salad)

At Aramark, Chef Judy worked closely with the Workplace Experience Group’s Marketing and Innovation team to implement the three signature dishes. The recipes have been created using carefully chosen ingredients to ensure authenticity in each of the dishes. Chef Judy’s culinary expertise and passion for Korean food are instrumental in introducing new and exciting menu options.
"Food has always been a big part of my life and I am so honored to join the Aramark family, bringing vibrant Korean flavors across the country through Aramark's corporate and business dining facilities, healthcare facilities and hospitals, colleges and universities, and more,” said Chef Judy Joo. “Be sure to look out for a plate of gochujang salmon or Korean barbecue chicken and enjoy!”
