New Ballpark Restaurant in Korea Merges Innovation, Culture, and Global Culinary Excellence

July 9, 2025

The Hanwha Eagles tapped Aramark Korea to bring an authentic Major League Baseball experience to fans at the brand-new Hanwha Life Ballpark in Daejeon, South Korea.

“This partnership with the Hanwha Eagles is not a one-time event, but the starting point for Aramark to expand its identity across various stadiums in Korea,” said David Kim, President and CEO, Aramark Korea. “We see this as an opportunity to introduce Aramark’s sports and entertainment expertise to Korean sports fans and to elevate Aramark Korea to the next level of growth.”

Aramark Korea is responsible for the fan experience at Innings restaurant, which serves classic American ballpark fare, such as BBQ wings, hot dogs, and helmet nachos, along with other local fan favorites.

Innings is designed to replicate the authentic feel of a U.S. baseball stadium, which is unique to South Korea stadiums.

To assist with that transformation, Aramark Korea called on key members of the Aramark Sports + Entertainment and Aramark Canada teams to help merge culture with culinary excellence.

With a commitment to innovation and service, Aramark Korea has introduced modern concession systems at Innings to streamline service and enhance the fan experience.

“This new partnership with the Hanwha Eagles signals a long-term transformation of the stadium experience in Korea—not just for one season, but for the future,” said Kim. “We think it’s a game-changer for sports fans in Korea.”
