Aramark Workplace Experience Group Chefs Advance to Compete in Enterprise-Wide Culinary Competition

July 25, 2025

The competition is heating up. Chefs across Aramark’s lines of business have been competing locally and regionally in the U.S. to become finalists in this year’s Aramark Culinary Excellence (ACE) competition.

ACE allows chefs to showcase their passion for excellence in a competitive, exciting, and enriching environment dedicated to providing growth and development while continuing to nurture a global culinary culture.

Aramark WXG ACE Finalists

In June, 12 chefs from Aramark Workplace Experience Group (WXG) went on to their business’ national ACE competition held at Aramark headquarters in Philadelphia. Four American Culinary Federation-certified judges ranked the chefs based on their preparation of a four-course meal created from a mystery basket of ingredients.

Congratulations to the following chef finalists who will compete as a team in the enterprise-wide ACE competition in October 2025:

  • Chef Parker Kinsley, Executive Chef, Lifeworks Restaurant Group
  • Chef Paul Kostandin, Culinary Development and Training Director, Lifeworks Restaurant Group
  • Chef Matthew GarelickWorkplace Experience Group (Portfolio Group)

“Our chefs deliver transformative workplace dining experiences to our guests every day,” said Gary Crompton, President and CEO, Aramark WXG. “Congratulations to our ACE chefs for demonstrating their true culinary passion and artistry.”

The team of three Aramark WXG chefs will compete against other chefs from Aramark Collegiate Hospitality, Aramark Destinations, Aramark Healthcare+, Aramark Sports + Entertainment, and Aramark Student Nutrition at the enterprise-wide ACE competition in the fall.
