Powered by People: Aramark Employees Give Back This Holiday Season

December 26, 2025

This holiday season, Aramark volunteers across the globe are coming together to spread joy and make a meaningful impact in their communities. Through a series of festive service projects, employees are embracing the spirit of giving by supporting families in need, organizing donation drives, and creating holiday care packages.

From decorating community centers to preparing warm meals for local shelters, these initiatives reflect Aramark’s commitment to service and collective impact. Volunteers are not only donating their time but also collecting essential items such as winter clothing, non-perishable food, and toys to ensure that every family can celebrate the season with comfort and cheer.

“Giving back during the holidays is a tradition we’re proud to uphold,” said Rebecca Owens, director of community relations. “Our teams are passionate about creating moments that matter for those who need it most.”

The volunteer projects are part of Aramark’s ongoing mission to strengthen communities through volunteerism and sustainable impact. By working together, employees are helping to brighten the holidays for thousands of individuals and families, reinforcing the power of people in action and compassion.

To all our Project Leaders worldwide, thank you for your dedication, and for bringing joy to communities this holiday season!

Meanwhile, the Aramark Human Resources team brought joy to families served by Lutheran Settlement House by donating dozens of toys, games, and other gifts to make the holidays extra special.

Aramark Teams Honor Veterans During Wreaths Across America Day

On Saturday, Dec. 13, Aramark SALUTE, Community Relations, and Star Teams proudly joined thousands of volunteers across the country to participate in National Wreaths Across America Day. This annual initiative is dedicated to fulfilling the mission to Remember, Honor, and Teach by laying wreaths at the graves of our nation’s fallen heroes.

Wreaths Across America coordinates ceremonies at more than 2,500 locations across the United States, at sea, and abroad. The most notable ceremony takes place at Arlington National Cemetery, where volunteers gather to pay tribute to those who served and sacrificed our freedom.

This year, Aramark team members came together at sites in Chicago, Ill.; Dallas, Texas; Valley Forge, Pa. (pictured); Minneapolis, Minn.; Madison, Tenn.; and Tallahassee, Fla., joining local communities in paying their respects.

This year’s Wreaths Across America program reached an extraordinary milestone. The program supported 5,598 participating cemeteries and sponsored more than 3.1 million veterans’ wreaths. Each wreath placed was a powerful symbol of remembrance, respect, and gratitude.
