The team from Aramark Germany received a prestigious Caterer of the Year Award from Cooking + CateringInside magazine for their commitment to community and social programs.
Confirming Aramark Germany's ongoing commitment to social responsibility, the award recognizes the initiatives of “Aramark Glücksbringer” (Aramark Lucky Charms), an employee-led group that has implemented more than 100 social projects in Germany this past year and demonstrated how social engagement and culinary expertise can be effectively combined.
“We are extremely pleased about this award,” said Arnd Rune Thomas, CEO, Aramark Germany. “The special prize recognizes the impressive commitment of our employees, who actively do good with a lot of heart and attitude. The Glücksbringer show every day how we breathe life into our corporate values.”
Glücksbringer initiatives have been in place for many years, bringing together employees from all over Germany who contribute their creativity, skills, and personal commitment.
Activities have included cooking and serving food to unhoused people, providing support for children's and youth facilities, joint activities with nursing homes, and donation projects that are created to positively impact people and communities.
