Tens of thousands of fans cheered for their favorite tennis players during the Women’s Tennis Association WTA 500 Korea Open, held at the Olympic Park Tennis Center in Seoul, South Korea September 14-22, 2024.
Selected as the Official Food and Beverage Provider of the WTA 500 Korea Open, Aramark Korea was onsite to provide top-notch food and beverage experiences to fans, media, and guests during the 10-day global women’s professional tennis circuit event. The WTA 500 Korea Open is the highest level of professional tennis played in South Korea.

More than 50 Aramark Korea employees were onsite each day at the WTA Korea 500 Open to serve thousands of guests daily. The semi-finals and finals events drew a full-capacity crowd of more than 7,000 people.
The team operated five strategically located service areas:
- Two general concession food booths open to the general public, including ticket holders and non-ticket holders;
- A premiere restaurant;
- A restaurant for athletes to ensure their nutritional needs are met; and
- A lounge bar.

Aramark Korea featured signature seasonal menus and world tennis-inspired drinks and food options to emphasize the global nature of the event and the company’s global culinary reach. The team focused on creating a festive experience to build on the excitement.
The Aramark Korea partnership with JSM Sports, the official event organizer for the WTA 500 Korea Open, spans a five-year term. The exclusive contract covers food and beverage services for the events each year except for beer, wine, and certain beverages that are managed by separate sponsors.
Held each year, this was the WTA 500 Korea Open tournament’s 20th anniversary.
