In the heart of downtown Williamsburg, Virginia is a retail shop featuring home décor, furnishings, and gifts inspired by Colonial Williamsburg, the largest living history museum in the United States.
Brick & Vine is the flagship store of the WILLIAMSBURG Brand. The WILLIAMSBURG Brand is a line of licensed home goods featuring a modern interpretation of traditional styles, all inspired by the collections of The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation. At Brick & Vine, customers will find WILLIAMSBURG merchandise, seasonal garden and holiday goods, home accents and linens, furniture, jewelry, and gifts. In the Design Center, located within the store, guests can work with the knowledgeable Aramark team to create a Williamsburg-inspired home with an extensive line of custom furniture, wallpaper, and designer fabrics.
In May 2021, Aramark and The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation opened Brick & Vine in Merchants Square, a shopping and dining district adjacent to the restored Historic Area of Colonial Williamsburg.
Brick & Vine located at 431 West Duke of Gloucester Street ,was created from three separate WILLIAMSBURG brand stores in Merchants Square to make it easier for guests to shop the entire line of licensed products during the same visit.
“There were three other stores we wanted to pull into one location, which is when Brick & Vine was born. The WILLIAMSBURG brand is one of the longest-running licensing programs in the country,” said General Retail Manager Victoria Graft. Trend meets tradition means taking elements from a historical item and translating them to modern living and today's trends. For example, a motif on a textile can be re-created into a new pattern on wallpaper and made with trendy colors for today’s home decorating trends. When people visit Colonial Williamsburg, they are there for history. Combining traditional and new designs attracts customers to the stores. “Colonial Williamsburg has touched people in some way. Whether it's from visiting as a child or learning about it in school,” said Graft.
Brick & Vine is one of the 13 Colonial Williamsburg retail stores, collectively known as The Shops at Colonial Williamsburg, that Aramark has been operating since 2017. Each of the 13 stores has a different theme and product assortment, including restored historic shops, modern souvenir stores, and gift shops within Colonial Williamsburg’s hotels and Art Museums, plus an online store. The best part about the stores is that they help support the research, education, and mission of The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation – a portion of each sale goes back to the Foundation so that future generations can learn from the past.

Online Retail Store
One of the many great things about The Shops at Colonial Williamsburg is the online store. Guests can shop online for WILLIAMSBURG Brand merchandise and other popular items from Colonial Williamsburg’s retail stores. “We can reach people across the country who have never been to Colonial Williamsburg by having the option of an online store, and guests who have been here can continue to shop for their favorite items and discover new products from Colonial Williamsburg after their visit. It’s a great opportunity for us to deepen the relationship with customers and to create loyalty for Colonial Williamsburg as a whole,” said Graft.
In 2022, Brick & Vine received an award in Visual Merchandising and Store Design from Aramark, and a nomination from the Hampton Roads Association for Commercial Real Estate.
