Aramark Destinations creates memorable experiences at National and State Parks, resorts, and tourist attractions located in some of the most scenic and inspiring locations in the U.S.
Those memorable experiences include a collection of activities suited to every guest, including guided snowmobiling excursions where enthusiasts can experience majestic mountains, old growth forests, pristine lakes, wildlife, and a lot of packed powder on and off trails.
“We are one of the largest operators of snowmobiling tours and rentals in the U.S.,” said Bruce Fears, President, Aramark Destinations. “The snowmobiling terrain we offer is impressive, which includes experiencing Yellowstone in the stillness of winter and the iconic blue sapphire waters of Lake Tahoe from an overlook on a snowmobile. Snowmobiling can be the adventure of a lifetime, and we strive to make every moment memorable for our guests.”
Jackson, Wyoming: From Here, You Can Go Anywhere
The area around Jackson, Wyoming, receives 500 to 600 inches of snow each year!
Mountain peaks reach upwards of 10,000 feet above sea level and there are more than two million acres of snowmobiling opportunities for visitors who want to experience the area through Aramark Destinations-managed locations and tour operators.
“Our peak season is from late December to mid-March,” said Dan Clouse, Aramark General Manager based at Wyoming’s Togwotee Mountain Lodge. “We guide more than 10,000 snowmobilers every winter just through Togwotee and Teton Tour Company—and that doesn’t include guests who bring their own sleds and do their own exploring around Togwotee. We are the only company to offer both a national park and forest opportunity and are known for working hard to make the experiences memorable and seamless for guests.”
Togwotee Mountain Lodge
The name “Togwotee” originally meant “lance thrower” or “exactly there” from a Native American game but has been translated to mean, “From here, you can go anywhere.”
It’s no wonder the lodge still identifies with that interpretation today.
On the perimeter of Jackson Hole in the Bridger-Teton National Forest, Togwotee Mountain Lodge is nestled between Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone National Park, as well as Shoshone National Forest, offering endless opportunities for year-round activities and enjoyment of nature’s beauty, including fishing, rafting, horseback riding, hiking, and mountain biking to name a few.
In the winter, the landscape becomes a premier destination for snowmobiling.
Aramark Destinations is authorized to manage and maintain 600 miles of groomed snowmobile trails and wide-open meadows around Togwotee Pass, which offers unique back-country powder sledding directly accessible from the Lodge.

Guests can rent equipment and gear from the Aramark Destinations team—including a choice of 150 snowmobiles onsite—or they can arrive with their own gear to hit the trails. They can sign up for one of many guided tour packages with Aramark Destination’s local snowmobile guides, or, if they are more experienced, guests can go out on their own.
Several tours are available for levels from beginners to more experienced snowmobilers.
Guests may stay at the renovated Togwotee Mountain Lodge in one of the 37 lodge rooms or suites or at one of the 54 cabins onsite which are popular for groups of four to six people. ADA-compliant and pet-friendly cabins are available.
In peak season, approximately 80 Aramark Destinations team members run operations, including lodging, cleaning, and other hotel guest services; dining and beverage services at the Red Fox Saloon and Grizzly Grill; a shop that sells gifts, clothing, and gear; a service station that offers groceries, fuel, and snowmobile rentals; and a popular meeting and event space for larger groups.

Teton Tour Company and Scenic Safaris
Aramark Destinations operates two tour companies based in Jackson, Wyoming, which provide guided snowmobile tours, gear, and transportation to and from area hotels and more remote snowmobile destinations.
Aramark Destinations purchased Teton Tour Company in 2013, which started as a small outfitter and has grown over the years into one of the largest tour operators in the area.
Guests choose from several snowmobile tour options that offer stunning views of the Grand Teton Mountain Range, forests, and rivers; a chance to spot wildlife, including deer, elk, and wolves; and trips to experience natural geothermal hot springs.
The other Aramark Destinations-operated tour company in Jackson is Scenic Safaris, which is open in summer and winter. It is one of only two companies permitted to offer snowmobile tours to the south gate of Yellowstone National Park and to its famous Old Faithful Geyser. In peak season, approximately 20 Aramark Destinations staff members run Scenic Safaris’ outfitter shop, tours, and water adventures.

Guests can explore Yellowstone National Park and Grand Teton National Park and other area attractions in winter by snowmobiles, luxury vans, or snow coaches—shuttle buses that have been converted to snow vehicles—offering awe-inspiring travel opportunities for every experience level and every ability.
Tours run almost every day. Aramark Destinations maintains more than 100 snowmobiles for these mountain, park, and wildlife trips.
Since Scenic Safaris is one of the only companies licensed to drive vehicles in and out of Yellowstone, Aramark Destinations also operates a shuttle so guests staying at the lodges within the park can travel to Jackson or other local spots.
Lake Tahoe: Adventures Await
Lake Tahoe is an iconic large freshwater lake in the Sierra Nevada Mountain range, straddling the border of California and Nevada. A year-round destination for many reasons, Lake Tahoe becomes a snowmobilers’ paradise in winter.
“We are the largest snowmobile tour operator in the area,” said Maggie Garcia-Nook, VP of Operations. “Our tours are very accessible to most skill levels. They’re popular with families and can accommodate single and double riders 16 or older.”
Zephyr Cove Resort
A historic and scenic retreat since 1862, Zephyr Cove, Nevada, is named for the gentle westerly winds that arrive in the afternoons across the Sierra Nevada. Aramark Destinations has managed services at the Zephyr Cove Resort for more than 25 years.

Overnight lodging is available in rooms at Zephyr Cove Lodge or 28 private cabins nestled along the property and lake. Cabins feature fully equipped kitchens. Some offer fireplaces, lake views, and are pet-friendly and ADA-accessible.
In the warmer months, guests may stay in RVs or tents at the campground onsite. There are stables for horseback riding and a full marina with boat rentals and an authentic paddlewheel boat for lake tours. Weddings and special events can be hosted onsite to take advantage of the beautiful scenery, exceptional catering, and accommodations.
Specializing in local and sustainable cuisine, Zephyr Cove Restaurant provides a selection of American favorites for breakfast and lunch, and contemporary classics for dinner in addition to a full bar.
Through the year, the M.S. Dixie II, the largest paddlewheel cruising vessel in South Lake Tahoe, takes 500 passengers across the lake for daytime and evening cruises, dinner cruises, and private charters.
In winter, visitors to the lake can enjoy both a lake cruise and a stunning snowmobile excursion.
Guides take snowmobile guests on tours to elevations reaching 9,000 feet above sea level on more than 45 miles of trails. Aramark Destinations maintains a fleet of more than 100 snowmobiles, along with clothing and gear rentals at the Resort. Private snowmobile group tours are offered with six people per tour guide. There are even tours to see the full moon rising above Lake Tahoe.
Aramark Destinations experts work to groom the trails every day with special equipment. It’s tricky work and sometimes cumbersome depending on temperatures, fresh snow fall, and snow base settling. However, the result creates perfectly smooth conditions so guests can enjoy themselves with the ride of their lives.

Lake Tahoe Adventures
Centered in South Lake Tahoe, California, Lake Tahoe Adventures is an adventure tour company that runs daily snowmobile tours through mountain meadows to peaks nearly 8,500 feet above sea level, offering unparalleled views of the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range and other nearby attractions.
The Aramark Destinations team at Lake Tahoe Adventures provides hotel shuttle services, clothing and gear rentals, a fleet of more than 100 snowmobiles, and expert tours of the area for snowmobilers of all levels. Many tours last about two hours or more.
Often, families enjoying a ski trip in the area will book a day of snowmobiling for a change of pace. Guests who have booked snowmobile tours through Zephyr Cove Resort will sometimes book a different tour with Lake Tahoe Adventures to see different sights and experience different trails.
In the warmer seasons, the team operates all-terrain vehicle tours so guests can enjoy a whole new experience in a whole new season.
