Founded in 2017 by Gavin Kaysen and Andrew Zimmern, KZ Provisioning breaks expectations to transform team dining. This program sets a new standard in athlete care through nutrient-rich cuisine by offering performance-focused meals tailored to the needs of not only the professional and collegiate athletes, but also their coaches and families. 

In 2024, KZ Provisioning partnered with Aramark Sports + Entertainment to expand their reach in the professional and collegiate sports industry and combine forces to deliver one common goal: unmatched hospitality.

Meet the Founders

Gavin Kaysen

Award-winning chef and founder of Soigne Hospitality Group in Minneapolis, Kaysen is known for his nationally renowned restaurants and cafes in the Twin Cities as well as his leadership in the culinary profession. He serves on the board of multiple mentorship and nonprofit organizations including his own Heart of the House Foundation and the Fastbreak Foundation, the official charity for the Minnesota Timberwolves, Minnesota Lynx, T-Wolves Gaming, and the Iowa Wolves. Chef Kaysen is the proud recipient of two James Beard Awards: Rising Star Chef of the Year in 2008, and Best Chef: Midwest in 2018.

Andrew Zimmern

Four-time James Beard Award-winning TV personality, chef, writer, teacher, culinary explorer, and social justice advocate, Andrew Zimmern is regarded as one of the most versatile and knowledgeable personalities in the food world. He is the creator, executive producer and host of the Travel Channel’s Bizarre Foods franchise, Andrew Zimmern’s Driven by Food, MSNBC’s What’s Eating America, Magnolia Network’s Emmy-nominated Family Dinner, and the Emmy-winning The Zimmern List. Zimmern is also the founder of Passport Hospitality, which creates unique culinary concepts and provides consulting services to various restaurant and retail projects.
