How to Create a Self-Sustaining K-12 Dining Program

Up to 37% of K-12 school districts say reimbursements for student lunches and breakfasts are not sufficient to cover the cost to produce the meals, according to the annual Revenues and Expenditures for Public Elementary and Secondary Education report. But many districts have discovered a solution to not only cover costs, but generate revenue from their dining programs.
