Barbara Flanagan: President and CEO, Aramark Collegiate Hospitality

Barbara Flanagan, an Aramark veteran and student experience expert, is the new President and CEO of Aramark Collegiate Hospitality. Flanagan most recently served as President and CEO of Aramark Student Nutrition, where she focused on K–12 school dining programs across the United States.

Since joining Aramark after graduating from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Restaurant, Hotel, and Institution Management, Flanagan has built a distinguished career spanning more than three decades that has strategically focused on culinary innovation, client satisfaction, operational excellence, and student-centered experience. She has held key leadership roles across both K–12 and Higher Education divisions, including Regional Vice President in Collegiate Hospitality, overseeing multi-state operations and leading teams.

Under Barbara’s leadership in Student Nutrition, Aramark earned national recognition for USDA award-winning menus, impactful nutrition education, and student advocacy.

Barbara has played a pivotal role in advancing organizational initiatives through her active participation in numerous regional and divisional task forces. Her strategic insight and collaborative leadership have helped shape programs that strengthen operational excellence, support communities and foster inclusive environments.

As Aramark Collegiate Hospitality continues to meet the dynamic needs of students and educational institutions, Flanagan’s leadership style—rooted in collaboration, innovation, and a deep understanding of the student journey—positions her well to guide the division into its next chapter.
