Aramark Honored with Energy and Engineering Awards

Aramark has recently been honored with prestigious energy and engineering awards from several organizations for outstanding accomplishments in the energy and engineering industries. The awards highlighted below were presented to Aramark September 24- 25, 2019, in Washington, D.C during the Global Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) Awards Ceremonies:

2019 AEE Region IV Corporate Energy Management Award
This Award was presented to Aramark as a corporation that is considered to be the best in that region for Energy Management. Region IV consists of 13 states: Arkansas, Colorado, Kansas, Louisiana, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Texas, and Wyoming.

2019 AEE’s Region IV Energy Professional Development Award
Aramark’s Senior Energy Manager, Brian Birch was selected to receive AEE’s 2019 Region IV Energy Professional Development Award. Each year AEE takes great satisfaction in seeking out the good work that is being done in energy and in recognizing those individuals that stand out from the rest.

2019 AEE New York Chapter Award – 2019 Energy Professional of the Year
Aramark’s National Director of Energy, John Mikullitz was honored for his dedication and management of Energy Efficiency programs for Aramark clients in New York State, New York City and energy clients throughout the country.

2019 American Institute of Architects (AIA) Committee on the Environment (COTE) Top Ten Award
The Aramark Engineering and Asset Solutions (EAS) team played a significant role in securing this award for one of our own clients. St. Patrick’s Cathedral, a historic religious monument in Manhattan. Aramark served as the official Commissioning Agent for St. Patrick’s Cathedral. Our efforts focused on updating the cathedrals geothermal and HVAC systems and ensuring their efficient operations.

2019 Association for Facilities Engineering (AFE)
Aramark received the 2019 CPS Leadership Award for Excellence in Facilities Management Award recognizing achievements for advancing the Certified Professional Supervisor certification.
