We spoke with Miranda, a Food Service Director at a Midwest medical center, who manages several 24/7 retail locations across the medical center campus. Her day-to-day duties include managing unexpected issues such as making menu changes when ingredients don’t arrive on schedule, updating product details when a new item is added to the assortment, and adjusting prices to account for market changes. The traditional menu management approach required Miranda to search & maintain data across multiple systems, as well as create tickets with IT support to implement her desired updates.
