We are committed to continuously developing an innovative and inclusive supply chain. We are proud to partner with a broad network of small organizations and businesses owned and operated by minorities, women, and other diverse populations. Supplier diversity is not only a key supply chain and diversity, equity, and inclusion initiative for Aramark—it is a business imperative that delivers success for our clients, consumers, and communities.
We understand that each client and community is different, and that flexibility is key. That is why we take a customized approach to our supplier diversity efforts, adjusting to meet our partners’ unique needs by seeking a broad range of procurement opportunities and available suppliers in the geographic areas in which we serve.
We have a centralized, enterprise-wide program focused on identifying potential diverse and small suppliers. We actively recruit diverse businesses, educate our employees on contracting goals, and provide a database of registered and certified diverse and small businesses.
We currently have partnerships with more than 5,600 small or diverse suppliers. To reinforce our supplier diversity commitments, we have set a goal to spend 25% of our purchases with small and diverse businesses throughout our supply chain by 2025.
