Fenimore Fisher, Vice President for DEI, started at Aramark in 2021 and has had immediate and significant impact on not just the company, but also each Aramark community member he has interacted with. Fenimore Fisher, VP for Diversity, Equity, Inclusion
Serving a global workforce of more than 200,000 people, Fenimore Fisher is Aramark’s Vice President for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), the company’s top DEI official, responsible for developing and implementing enterprise-wide DEI strategies.
As an officer of the company, Fisher provides updates to our Board of Directors on our DEI strategic pillars of workforce, workplace, and marketplace. He partners with teams such as: Human Resources, Operations, Growth, Supplier Diversity, Community Relations, and Sustainability to develop, implement and embed DEI strategy within the organization. He is also responsible for the administration of Aramark’s executive diversity council and manages 11 employee resource groups and an ally network to advance the work.
An attorney by training, Fisher came to Aramark in 2021, bringing decades of cross-sectoral experience, including as the senior-most DEI leader at DLA Piper, Johns Hopkins University, and the City of New York. He also served as Vice President of Diversity and Employment Analysis for Walmart, and as Executive Director of the Rainbow/PUSH Coalition’s Wall Street Project.
Fisher is a native of Louisiana who earned a bachelor's degree in economics from Louisiana State University, a JD from Ohio Northern University, and a labor mediation certification from Cornell University.
Ranked as one of the top DEI practitioners in the country, he has received numerous awards and recognitions, including the Founders Award from the Thurgood Marshall Scholarship Fund, the Trailblazer Award from the Rainbow/PUSH Coalition, and the Multicultural Leadership Award from the National Diversity Council. Fisher serves as a member of the corporate advisory council for the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation, a past member of GLSEN’s Corporate Leadership Council supporting LGBTQ+ youth, a past advisor to Seramount’s Multicultural Women’s Conference, and an active member of the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc.
