Sustainably sourcing our food has many positive impacts on the people and communities we serve. As a company that serves many destinations and cultural attractions across the country, our buying of local ingredients and cuisine not only allows visiting guests to enjoy a richer cultural experience but also reduces our client’s environmental footprint and supports local economies.
We do our best to source all our products within 150 miles of each of our destinations, and in remote locations like national parks, we strive to source our products within a 450-mile radius. By partnering with local farms and businesses, we can provide the freshest possible product to guests, ensure consistent food quality and cut down on transportation costs and emissions.
What’s more, we seek to buy products that have been independently certified to improve land vitality, enhance animal welfare and preserve the natural population. Each of our destinations strives to follow the Environmental Working Group’s Shopper’s Guide to Pesticides and Produce when ordering organically grown items, and all of our vendors that provide food for our parks and destinations are Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) certified.
Both locally and through our larger distributors, we also actively seek out the following certifications:
Working hand-in-hand with our clients, we determine which of our many sourcing programs will best fit our mutual goals and deliver the best results.
At many of our destinations and cultural attractions, visitors are staying active, whether they’re hiking the many trails at a national park or exploring the exhibits at their local museum. To complement their active lifestyles, our guests look for great-tasting, nutritious menu choices. That’s why our team of talented chefs incorporates wholesome, fresh options into our destination dining menus.
Our programs are designed to accommodate a wide variety of dietary needs and make it easy to find healthy dining options.
We proudly serve at museums, national parks, lodges, zoos, aquariums and a host of other cultural attractions, all of which make for popular event locations. As an experienced food and beverage service provider at venues like these, we have the resources and expertise not only to cater your event but also plan it from start to finish.
We’ll take care of everything—providing the food, beverages, décor, planning and staff to meet any of your catering needs. Our team has built our reputation on providing service excellence no matter what challenges face us, and we consistently deliver exceptional leadership, culinary skills, food presentation and service quality.
At each of the destinations and attractions we serve, our goal is to create a richer, more immersive cultural experience through creative and great-tasting menu options. At the heart of executing this goal is our large team of culinary professionals.
We recruit, hire, train, develop and retain the best culinary talent in the country. Many of our chefs participate in The Culinary Institute of America’s ProChef® Certification program, which provides the opportunity to enhance and improve their culinary skills as they reinvigorate their passion for food. There they learn how to incorporate local ingredients and cooking styles to complement your venue’s unique atmosphere.
From crafting inventive recipes for spectacular dishes to efficient production and eye-pleasing presentation, our chefs make your venue’s dining experience truly one-of-a-kind.
