At all our destinations, we make sure our food meets the highest nutritional and ethical standards.

Responsible Sourcing 

Sustainably sourcing our food has many positive impacts on the people and communities we serve. As a company that serves many destinations and cultural attractions across the country, our buying of local ingredients and cuisine not only allows visiting guests to enjoy a richer cultural experience but also reduces our client’s environmental footprint and supports local economies. 

We do our best to source all our products within 150 miles of each of our destinations, and in remote locations like national parks, we strive to source our products within a 450-mile radius. By partnering with local farms and businesses, we can provide the freshest possible product to guests, ensure consistent food quality and cut down on transportation costs and emissions. 

What’s more, we seek to buy products that have been independently certified to improve land vitality, enhance animal welfare and preserve the natural population. Each of our destinations strives to follow the Environmental Working Group’s Shopper’s Guide to Pesticides and Produce when ordering organically grown items, and all of our vendors that provide food for our parks and destinations are Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) certified. 

Both locally and through our larger distributors, we also actively seek out the following certifications:

  • Fair Trade USA
  • USDA Certified Organic
  • Monterey Bay Aquarium Seafood Watch™ approved seafood
  • Humanely raised certified by the Global Animal Partnership or Animal Welfare Approved
  • American Grass-fed Association (AGA) certified beef Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) certified

At each of the destinations and attractions we serve, our goal is to create a richer, more immersive cultural experience through creative and great-tasting menu options. At the heart of executing this goal is our large team of culinary professionals. 

We recruit, hire, train, develop and retain the best culinary talent in the country. Many of our chefs participate in The Culinary Institute of America’s ProChef® Certification program, which provides the opportunity to enhance and improve their culinary skills as they reinvigorate their passion for food. There they learn how to incorporate local ingredients and cooking styles to complement your venue’s unique atmosphere.
