In the midst of the hurricane devastation in New Orleans, Biloxi,
Mobile and elsewhere along the Gulf Coast, ARAMARK focused on ensuring
the safety of our employees and helping our clients, customers and
communities.
Our teams on the ground helped nourish communities,
house and otherwise sustain tens of thousands of displaced people, and
worked to help our employees and clients in every way possible.
The ARAMARK Charitable Fund donated a gift of $500,000 to the American Red Cross for
disaster relief. In addition, personal donations from ARAMARK employees
to the American Red Cross Hurricane 2005 Relief Fund are being matched
dollar for dollar by the company.
