In a continued effort to raise money for the American Cancer Society’s (ACS) general research fund and specific initiatives, ARAMARK employees raised over $207,000 in 2007. The money was raised through fundraising events such as a golf outing, which was held May 14, 2007. A total of 275 players attended this event to help support the ACS.
ARAMARK employees have raised money for the Philadelphia-area American Cancer Society since 1995. With the money raised this year, the total contribution over the last 12 years exceeds $1 million.
Philadelphia is home to ARAMARK’s world headquarters. Year after year, Philadelphia-area ARAMARK employees continue to support the ACS and are among the area’s biggest ACS fundraisers.
