Philadelphia, PA, December 8, 2009 – Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum, home of the Oakland Raiders, was recently named the NFL’s most vegetarian-friendly stadium, according to People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals’ (PETA) 2009 annual survey. ARAMARK serves as the Coliseum’s food and beverage partner.
The Coliseum gained one spot from PETA’s 2008 rankings with a vegetarian menu that includes smoky veggie dogs, hearty veggie burgers and spicy Tex-Mex vegetarian burritos, as well as garden salads and fresh fruit salads.
