Philadelphia, PA, June 1, 2009 – Roger Peterson,
ARAMARK Business & Industry Facility Services’ Regional Vice
President for Corporate and Commercial Facilities, has been appointed
to the Board of Trustees with the International Facility Management
Association (IFMA) Foundation. Peterson will serve a three-year term,
expiring in May, 2012.
As a Trustee for the charitable IFMA
Foundation, Peterson will be assisting the Foundation in its efforts to
realize its vision and mission, focusing on supporting the many
different recognized degree programs that provide both undergraduate
and graduate-level degrees in Facilities Management.
Peterson
joined the B&I Facility Services’ team in 2005 as its Vice
President of Operations for Facility Services and was promoted to his
current role in 2007. He formerly held leadership positions with Impact
Management Services and Johnson Controls.
In addition to serving
his three-year term with the Foundation, Peterson is also a member of
CoreNET, an international real estate management association, and a
member of the Facility Management Industry Advisor Council at Brigham
Young University.
A former Captain in the United States Army,
Peterson holds an MBA from Boston University. He was commissioned as
an officer in the Army when he graduated from The United States
Military Academy at West Point, where he earned a Bachelor of Science
degree.
