ARAMARK Business Dining Wins Top Supplier Award for Fifth Year

Redondo Beach, Calif., May 20, 2009 – ARAMARK Business Dining was recently honored with a Gold Supplier Award for meeting exemplary performance standards by Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE:NOC), a global defense and technology company. ARAMARK Business Dining, which has captured a Gold Supplier Award for five years running, manages the onsite restaurants and provides onsite catering at the company’s Aerospace Systems offices in Redondo Beach, California.

ARAMARK Business Dining received the Gold award during Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems’ Suppliers Day recognition ceremony.

“We are truly grateful to have been honored yet again by such a world-class operation,” said Prentiss Hall, regional vice president for ARAMARK Business Dining. “Northrop Grumman holds its suppliers to a high standard. To not only meet, but exceed their expectations, especially in this current environment, is truly a testament to our team onsite and the outstanding partnership we share with Northrop Grumman. We thank Northrop Grumman for this highly valued recognition.”

Lisa Kohl, vice president, Northrop Grumman Global Supply Chain, said the companies honored at this year’s event represent,” the best of the best”. The awards recognize suppliers for achieving distinction in product quality, on-time delivery, customer satisfaction, and robust processes. “Building honest, lasting relationships with our suppliers has always been a key part of who we are as a company,” Kohl added.

The award from Northrop Grumman is the second accolade that Business Dining has received in recent weeks. Ed Cuza, ARAMARK general manager responsible for foodservice operations at a Hackettstown, New Jersey manufacturer, was honored
as Employer of the Year by Abilities NW Jersey, Inc. The organization recognizes employers, employees, business leaders and community partners for their involvement and commitment in providing employment opportunities to individuals with disabilities.
