Philadelphia, PA, November 11, 2010 – For the second time in as many years, an ARAMARK concessions venue – the Philadelphia Eagles’ Lincoln Financial Field – has been named America’s most vegetarian-friendly NFL stadium by People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA).
ARAMARK food and beverage accounts represent three of the top five stadiums on PETA’s annual list of the best NFL venues for vegetarians. Last season’s No. 1 venue, the Oakland Raiders’ Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum, is this year’s runner-up, and the Kansas City Chiefs’ Arrowhead Stadium tied for fifth on PETA’s 2010 list. ARAMARK is the exclusive stadium concessions partner for seven NFL teams, including the Eagles, Raiders, Chiefs, Cincinnati Bengals, Baltimore Ravens, Pittsburgh Steelers and Houston Texans. ARAMARK also provides premium level food and beverage services for the Minnesota Vikings.

Four other ARAMARK food and beverage partners – Houston’s Minute Maid Park, Denver’s Coors Field, Atlanta’s Turner Field and Anaheim’s Angel Stadium – were among PETA’s Top 10 vegetarian-friendly MLB venues in 2010, and three more ARAMARK ballparks – Boston’s Fenway Park, Pittsburgh’s PNC Park and the Coliseum in Oakland – earned honorable mentions.
