ARAMARK Food, Nutrition and Health Executives Attend Leadership Institute Sponsored by American Dietetic Association

Chicago, IL – August 4, 2010 - Three Registered Dietitians from ARAMARK, a global professional services company, were among a select group chosen to attend the American Dietetic Association’s seventh Leadership Institute in Scottsdale, Ariz.

Participation in the ADA’s Leadership Institute is limited to fewer than 300 of the ADA’s more than 71,000 members throughout the country. The intensive certificate training program focuses on the theory and practice of leadership in dietetics.

“This program is designed to enhance the leadership skills of ADA members through informational sessions and practice-based educational experiences,” said registered dietitian and ADA President Judith C. Rodriguez.

Senior ARAMARK Healthcare registered dietitians, Sharron Lent, RD, LD, Senior Director of Patient and Clinical Services, Cyndra Banta, MS, RD, LD, Director of Clinical Practice and Amy Wampler, MS, RD, LD, ARAMARK  Dietetic Internship Director completed the exclusive training program.

4. Enhance member communication, mentoring and team building skills.
