Dietetic Internship Mission, Goals, Outcomes

Mission Statement
To provide opportunities, incorporating the Commission on Accreditation of
Dietetic Education (CADE) Standards, for interns to acquire knowledge, skills,
and ability to function as entry-level, registry-eligible dietitians, using
ARAMARK’s resources.
Program Goals
Goal #1: The program will develop competent, entry-level,
generalist dietitians utilizing ARAMARK Corporation resources.
Goal #2: The Program will assist in meeting the demand
for qualified dietitians/entry-level managers within the dietetics profession.
Expectations for Interns During Program
The successful ARAMARK intern possesses the following qualities:

- Program Application Fee (non-refundable):

- Program Fee: $7,000 (depending on location)
- American Dietetic Affiliate Membership: $43
- Professional Liability Insurance: $35 - $45 (depending on
location)
- Housing (monthly): $600 - $900 (depending on location)
- Utilities, Phone, etc.: Variable (depending on
services/location)
- Meals at facilities: Variable (depending on site policy) -
from free to $5
- Transportation will be the responsibility of the intern
- Professional Meetings: $100
- Lab Coat: $30
- Books: $200 - $250
- Medical and Car Insurance: Variable
- Physical and laboratory testing: Variable (depending on
insurance)
