So you’re scheduled for an interview? Terrific! Here are a few tips to help you prepare.

Do Your Homework
Spend some time reading about the services ARAMARK provides. Read about our history, our vision and the latest news. Review job descriptions for several positions that interest you.

Dress Appropriately
Business suits are typically worn during interviews. Neutral colors are your safest bet. If your interview is at one of our field sites, please be cautious of your footwear - keep it comfortable and think about safety. Chances are you’re going to be walking around in kitchens, laundry facilities or storerooms. Please do not wear open-toed shoes!

Relax
Interviews are often stressful. Take a deep breath and have questions ready. The more prepared and relaxed you are, the easier the interview is – for both parties!

Ask Questions
The interview is the perfect time for you to find out more about ARAMARK. Remember, you are interviewing us too. Ask about the interviewer’s background with ARAMARK. Inquire about training programs. Find out what your biggest challenges may be. Bring a list of questions.

Bring Copies of Your Resume
You may have updated your resume since applying online. No problem! Just bring a few paper copies for us. Nothing fancy, just print off a clean copy so we can use that as a reference during the interview.

Be Ready to Discuss Your Background/Experience
Be prepared to discuss previous jobs and/or internship experiences, as well as extra-curricular activities.

Be Specific
Your responses will be more interesting if you provide detail. Tell us the “who, what, where, when, why and how.”
